    1 medium head cabbage or 1 bag cole slaw mix
    2 packages chicken flavored ramen noodles
    2 cans white meat chicken
    1/2 C slivered almonds
    1/4 C sesame seeds
    1/2 C canola oil
    1 tbsp sugar
    1 tsp season salt
    3 tbsp apple cider vinegar


Shred cabbage. Break up ramen noodles into small pieces and add to cabbage. Toast almonds and sesame seeds until lightly browned. Add to cabbage mixture. Combine remaining ingredients with seasoning packets from noodles. Pour over cabbage mixture. Mix and refrigerate.

Makes about 18 half-cup servings.

  • THis is a really awesome salad. I haven't added the canned chicken as I use it as a salad but it would make it a great low cal lunch with it. - 3/2/11
