Introduction

Delicious and Filling!!!! Delicious and Filling!!!!
Number of Servings: 75

Ingredients

    11/2 cups crispy rice cereal
    2 cups Kashi Honey Sunshine
1 bag Welchs' Berry Medley dried fruit
    11/2 cups honey
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup white sugar
    3 cups peanut butter
    2 t vanilla extract
1/3 cup salted dry roasted peanuts
    3 oz salted roasted cashews
    3/4 cup salted roasted almonds
1/2 cup raw walnuts, roasted, unsalted
1/2 cup raw pecans, roasted, unsalted
    3/4 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup seed, nut, raisin energy mix(I use Publix Brand)
    3/4 T salt

Directions

Set oven Temp. at 350. Roast raw nuts and oats on a cookie sheet for ten min. Take out 2 mixing bowls. Once done roasting place half of the mixture in one bowl and the other half in the other. Continue distributing the ingredients evenly to each bowl throughout the process. Dump the bag of dried fruit into the bowls, then raisins, then peanuts, then cashews, then energy mix. Chop the almonds then add to the bowls. Last ,add the two cereals. Add both types of sugar to a large sauce pan, then add the honey. Boil on high for for one minute, stirring constantly. Take off burner. Add vanilla and salt. WATCH OUT DON'T GET BURNED. THE VANILLA AND SALT HAVE A CHEMICAL REACTION WITH THE HONEY MIXTURE. KEEP YOUR EYES AWAY FROM THE POT WHEN ADDING THOSE INGREDIENTS. Add peanut butter. Mix until melted. Add half of the mixture to one bowl and the other half to the other. Use a scraper to scoop excess mixture from the pot. Coat the dry ingredients with the mixture. Use arm muscle to mix until EVERYTHING is COATED OR ELSE THE DRY INGREDIENTS WILL BURN IN THE OVEN. Once coated combine both bowls of granola goodness into a 9x13 semi-deep greased brownie pan. Bake 20 min uncovered. Let cool in pan on counter for 1 hr. Cut to desired size. Refrigerate in containers. Last up to a month. ENJOY!!!!!!!!
