Number of Servings: 4


    2 Tsp Olive Oil
    1/3 C sliced almonds
    1 C uncooked basmati rice
    1 garlic clove
    3/4 C water
    10 1/2 oz can beef broth
    1/4 C cilantro
    1/4 C green onions
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper


Heat olive oil in med. saucepan over medium heat. Add almonds and saute for 2 min. Add rice and garlic and saute for additional two minutes. Stir in broth and water and bring to boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 min or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat; stir in cilantro and the remaining ingredients
