Quick and easy gluten free snack...can be baked or eaten raw!!! Quick and easy gluten free snack...can be baked or eaten raw!!!
Number of Servings: 36


    10 oz raw mixed nuts, soaked overnight and drained
    1/2 cup organic cocoa powder
    1/2 cup organic agave syrup
    1/2 cup gluten free bread crumbs
    1 whole egg (omit for raw variation)
    1/4 cup whole flax seeds


Preheat oven to 350.

Add nuts to food processor bowl and process approximately 45 seconds to 1 minute or until completely broken up.

Add remaining ingredients and process until you have a thick paste.

Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Using 1/2 oz ice cream scooper, drop mixture onto baking sheet. They can be placed close together as they do not spread while baking.

Bake 12-15 minutes. Remove and let cool.

Raw Variation: Omit egg, shape into balls and roll in shredded coconut and freeze for at least 30 minutes before serving.
