    Strawberries, 3 1/4 cup, mashed
    Banana, 1 1/2 cup, mashed
    Lemon Juice, 3 tbsp
    Sure Jell Fruit Pectin (1 box)
    Butter, 1/2 tsp
    Granulated Sugar, 6 3/4 cup


Prepare 8 canning jars by washing and drying the jars and screw tops. Boil water and pour over lids, leave covered in water until ready to use. Stem and crush strawberries. Measure 3 1/4 cup into 6-8 quart saucepan. Mash bananas and add to pan. Stir in lemon juice. Measure into a separate bowl. Stir pectin into saucepan then add butter. Bring mixture to full rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Quickly stir in the sugar. Return to full rolling boil and boil for exactly one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and remove any foam with metal spoon. Pour into jars and fill to 1/8th from top. Wipe rims and cover with lids. Screw on top tightly and invert for 5 minutes, then turn upright. After jars cool, check seal. Makes 8 jelly jars. Serving size is 1 tbsp.
