Ingredients

    *Package of about 30 Wanton Wrappers
    *Carrots, raw, 4 medium
    *Bean sprouts, 2 cup
    * Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    *Snow Peas, fresh, 2 cup

Directions

Makes about 30 dumplings, about 5 dumplings per serving
1. Wash the vegetables. Cut the carrots into narrow, thin slices; dices the onions; and cut the snow peas and sprouts into fourths. Combine into a bowl, adding a bit of salt and pepper to taste.
2. Lay out the wanton wrappers (I used store bought wrappers but you can make your own as well) and with your finger, coat the edges of the wrapper with water.
3. Scoop about 1/8 of the veggie mixture and place in center of a wanton wrapper (Note: the wrappers I use are fairly small; use your best judgment at how much to put in each dumpling. Sometimes, it takes a couple tries to get the best amount).
4. Take a corner of the wrapper and fold over to the opposite edge. With your fingers, pinch together the edges of the wrapper, folding over in areas to make sure the dumpling is closed completely.
Repeat for all the dumplings.

Now for the cooking: You can either steam the dumplings or bake them.
Baking: 1. Preheat the oven to 350*
2. Place the dumplings on a baking sheet sprayed with non-stick spray, about an inch apart.
3. Bake for about 8 minutes or until golden brown. I suggest checking on them after 4 minutes and then every 2 minutes after that since they burn easily.

Steaming: 1.Using a double-boiler, fill the bottom pot about 3/4 full of water.
2. Spray the top pot with non-stick spray and place however many dumplings can fit comfortably in the pot without getting too crowded.
3. Let boil for about 6-10 minutes, or until full cooked.
