A tasty apple-pie feel to quench the sweetest of sweet tooths. A tasty apple-pie feel to quench the sweetest of sweet tooths.

    3 cups Heart Smart Bisquick mix
    1 cup organic fat free 2% milk
    3 red delicious apples, peeled and diced
    1/2 sugar
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tablespoon egg beaters whites


Preheat oven to 350' F

Mix the bisquick and milk together into a dough per recipe for biscuits on the box.

In a bowl, mix the apples, sugar (setting 1 tablespoon of sugar to the side), and 3/4 of the cinnamon.

Separate the dough into 14 equal parts.

Roll each portion of dough out into a 5 inch circle.

In the center of each circle, place about 1/4 of the apple mix.

Fold the dough over into a half circle and pinch the edges closed.

Place on a cookie sheet.

Repeat until all portions of dough have been used.

Mix the tablespoon of sugar and remaining cinnamon together in a small bowl.

Brush a thin layer of the egg beater over the top of each turnover.

Sprinkle the sugar/cinnamon mixture evenly over each turnover until all sugar is gone.

Bake for 20 minutes or until dough is done.

1 serving = 1 turnover
