My families summer salsa fresh from the garden and onto the chips. My families summer salsa fresh from the garden and onto the chips.
Number of Servings: 4


    1 medium to Large fresh tomato chopped into bite sized pieces.
    1/2 Red pepper chopped into bited sized pieces
    1/2 Yellow or Orange pepper chopped into bite sized pieces
    1 Jalepeno chopped very fine (do not get the juice near the eyes.)
    1/2 cup chopped onion (more if desired)
    1/2 cup store bought Salsa
    Cilantro if desired for seasoning.


Chop all ingredients to small bite sized pieces. Mix and allow to marinade for 30 minutes to 1 hour. (If you can wait.) It is now ready to use as desired.
We usually take 1 serving of tortilla chips and top with 1/3 shredded cheese or 1 slice of cheddar and heat 30 minutes in the microwave and top it with the salsa.
