Tasty take on tuna noodle casserole!!! If you don't like tuna, this is the casserole for you!! Tasty take on tuna noodle casserole!!! If you don't like tuna, this is the casserole for you!!
Number of Servings: 6


    Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    Milk, nonfat, 3 cup
    Flour, white, .5 cup
    Tuna, Canned in Water, 3 can
    Green Beans (canned is best) 1 can OR 1 cup
    *Macaroni, enriched, 4 cup elbow shaped (or about a box)
    Salt, 1 dash
    Butter, 1 stick
    NOTE: Any of these ingredients (save for those to make the sauce) can be modified, so if you don't like alot of tuna, you can take it out or add more, etc.


1. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Once butter is melted, put in chopped onions. Cook until the onions are soft.
2. Slowly whisk in flour and milk, stirring constantly. After about 3 minutes, or once the liquid is smooth and not grainy, turn off the sauce and let sit.
3. In a seperate pan, heat up green beans. IF USING CANNED: drain and put into saucepan to heat them up. IF USING FRESH: boil for about 5 minutes or until cooked.
4. Boil macaroni. Drain macaroni about 3-5 minutes before they are al dente.
5. Put the milkflour sauce, the green beans, the pasta and the tuna into a bowl. Carefully stir and put into a casserole dish.
6. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 - 25 minutes.
7. ENJOY!!!!
