Introduction

Easy pickles without the muss and fuss of canning jars and sterilizing. Just put in freezer and last indefinitely. Easy pickles without the muss and fuss of canning jars and sterilizing. Just put in freezer and last indefinitely.

Ingredients

    2 pints slice unpeeled cucumbers
    2 tsp plain salt
    2 medium onions
    1.5 cups sugar
    0.5 tsp celery seed
    0.5 cups vinegar

Directions

Mix cucumber , salt and onions. Make syrup from sugar and vinegar by heating in pan on stove. Cool and refrigerate until cold. After 2 hours, drain the cucumber mixture and squeeze out excess water. Add celery seeds to cucumber mixture. Pack in plastic freezer containers and cover with syrup mixture and freeze. May use after 24 hours. Keeps indefinitely in freezer.
