Ingredients

    Mustard Greens, 350 grams (remove)
    Spinach, fresh, 2 cup (remove)
    *Cumin seed, 1 tsp (remove)
    Yellow Cornmeal, 0.5 cup (remove)
    *ghee, 2 tsp (remove)
    *Canola Oil, 2 tbsp (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 0.5 cup, chopped or sliced (remove)
    Salt, 0.75 tsp (remove)
    Jalapeno Peppers, 2 pepper (remove)
    Garlic, 2 tsp (remove)

Directions

Wash and quickly blanch mustard greens (remove stems and use only leaves) and spinach in boiling water for 2-3 min.
Cool and grind coarsely along with jalapeno peppers.
Heat oil , add cumin seeds and finely chopped onions and minced garlic and fry until brown. Next add chopped tomatoes or blanched tomato puree. Saute for a few min. To this add the ground greens, salt and garam masala and continue to saute until almost dry. Then add cornmeal and mix it in well. Add ghee at this stage and continue to cook on simmer until homogenous.
Serve hot with roti.
