    Beans, black, 1 lb
    Lentils, 1 C
    Amaranth Grain, 1/4 cup, 8 serving
    Carrots, raw, 4 carrot (7-1/2")
    Onions, raw, 1.5 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    Garlic, 1 tsp
    Almonds, 1 cup, ground
    Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain (1/2 cup dry), 3 serving
    Olive Oil, 3 tbsp
    Cilantro, raw, 3 tbsp (


Mix all ingredients together with your hands
form into small patties and place on a greased cookie sheet (or Silpat)
Bake for 20 minutes, Flip and continue baking for 10 minutes until golden brown.

They can also be fried.

Makes 20 patties
