    1/4 cup Honey
    1/4 cup applesauce
    3 ripe bananas (mashed)
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 cups whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. ground flax seed (adds Fiber with few cals)
    1/2 cup plain yogurt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup slivered almonds (almonds add almost 50 cals and 3g fat to each serving)


Preheat oven to 350. Mix applesauce, bananas, honey in a large bowl. Mix dry ingredients in a smaller bowl, Mix wet and dry together, add eggs, vanilla and yogurt. Pour mixture into two loaf pans and (top with Almonds) bake at 350 for 30-45 mins until knife inserted in center comes out clean. serving size is based on cutting each loaf into 6 even slices but 8 is good for a snack and 16 is good for a party appetizer.
