Number of Servings: 4


    2 Chicken Breast, no skin, no bone
    Carrots, raw, 5 medium
    *Potato, raw, 4 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.)
    Broth, Vegetable, Clearly Organic, Best Choice, 1 cup
    Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
    Basil, Fresh, 5 leaves, torn
    Bay Leaf, 1 leaf
    Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp
    Pepper, black, 1 tbsp


Cut chicken breasts in to strips. Peel and cut carrots into pieces small enough for cooker. Peel and quarter potatoes. Add carrots to cooker. Layer potatoes on top of carrots. Add chicken pieces, spices, broth, and water. Cook in slow cooker on low for 8 hours, or high for 4 hours. Add more water, if needed, while cooking.

Serves 3-4.
