Indonesian Shish Kabobs Indonesian Shish Kabobs
Number of Servings: 4


    1/4 C packed fresh Cilantro leaves
    2 Garlic cloves, quartered
    2 Tbs Water
    1 tsp. ground Ginger
    2 tsp Sesame Oil (Asian, Dark)
    1 lb Bonless Sirloin Steak, trimmed of fat, cut into long 1/4 inch thick strips
    4 Bamboo Skewers


1. Place skewers in water for 10 mins.

2. Spray broiler pan with nonstick spray and preheat broiler

3. Grind cilantro, garlic, water, ginger, and sesame oil in a food processor or blender until paste like.

4. Working in a shallow bowl, rub the paste into the beef strips.

5. Drain skewers. Thread beef onto skewers piercing each strip in at least twice so it will lay flat.

6. Broil 5 inches from the heat, turning once, until cooked through, about 6 mins.
