    Olive Oil, .5 cup
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Peas, frozen, 0.5 cup )
    Sweet Corn, Fresh, 1 cup
    Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 3 cup
    *Brown Rice, medium grain, 1 cup
    *Yam, cooked, with salt, 1 cup, cubes
    Soup, bouillon cubes and granules, low sodium, dry, 2 teaspoon
    Tomato Paste, .25 cup
    Water, tap, 6 cup (8 fl oz)


Saute onions and chopped vegetables in a little oil until softened and then add all ingedients with about 6 cups water to make a soup.
Season to taste when cooked to allow for flavours to develop.
