Introduction

Original recipe calls for cream of mushroom soup, but since no one in my family likes mushrooms, and the cream of chicken enhances the flavor, I use cream of chicken soup instead. Ingredients

    1 can (10 3/4oz) cream of chicken soup
    1/2 cup milk
    1/4 tsp ground black pepper
    1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
    1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
    2 cups cubed cooked chicken
    2 cups medium egg noodles, cooked and drained (can also use corkscrew-shaped pasta)
    1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

1. Stir soup, milk, black pepper, Parmesan cheese, vegetables, chicken and noodles in 1 1/2-qt. casserole.
2. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 25 min. or until hot. Stir.
3. Top with the Cheddar cheese.

    Very Good
    I actually doubled the receipe so we can have leftovers for lunch. I used 1 can of cream of mushroom and 1 can of cream of chicken. Also added some garlic powder and bread crumbs on top to add a crunch. Going to keep this one close by :) - 4/11/11
