    * Mushrooms, fresh, 1 cup, pieces or slices (remove)
    * Beef, bottom sirloin, tri-tip roast, trimmed, 1800 grams (remove)
    * *Hoisin Sauce, 4 tbsp (remove)
    * Garlic, 2 cloves (remove)
    * Salt, .5 tsp (remove)
    * Beef broth, bouillon, consomme, .25 cup (remove)
    * Cornstarch, .06 cup (remove)
    * Water, tap, .25 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
    * Scallions, raw, 6 tbsp chopped (remove)


# Put the mushrooms in your slow cooker and place the beef on top.
# 2 Spread the Hoisin Sauce over the beef, scatter the garlic and salt over it, and pour in the broth around it.
# 3 Cover the slow cooker, and cook on low for 6-8 hours (depending on how hot your crockpot gets).
# 4 Remove the beef from the slow cooker and put it on a platter. Turn cooker to high.
# 5 Mix the cornstarch with water and add to the sauce. When sauce is thickened a bit, pour the sauce into a sauce boat.
# 6 Slice the beef and serve it with the sauce, topped with the scallions.
