Low fat whipped "cream" Low fat whipped "cream"

    Kroger non fat Dry milk
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    2 tbs Sugar
    1/2 cup Cold water


Mix 1/2 dry milk with 1/2 cup water and beat to soft peak stage, about 4 min with an electric mixer. Add 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and beat 6-7 minutes at the same speed. Add 2 tbs sugar and beat 1minute at same speed. Serve as topping in place of whipped cream.
Makes approx 15 two tbs servings.

  • I plan on trying this. I hope it will work with any kind of dry milk. I will be using Splenda since I am diabetic. It sounds great! - 3/6/09
