Pancake recipe uses apple sauce and PB2 Pancake recipe uses apple sauce and PB2
Number of Servings: 15


    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 cup unbleached white flour
    2 tbsp PB2
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    2 cups milk (or buttermilk)
    2 tbsp white vinegar (omit if using buttermilk)
    1 large egg
    1/2 cup or 1 snack cup of all natural apple sauce


In a large measuring cup, measure 2 cups of milk and add 2 tbsp vinegar. Let sit for 10 minutes while you prepare dry ingredients.

In large mixing bowl, measure and whisk together all dry ingredients.

After 10 minutes, stir milk mixture and add egg and applesauce. Whisk until thouroughly mixed. Add to dry ingredients. Stir until just mixed but still lumpy.

Cook on hot griddle set to 350 degrees until bubbly, flip and cook until 2nd side is brown, 3 minutes.
