Ingredients

    Filling

    2 cups fresh blueberries
    2 cups fresh blackberries
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    2 tablespoons flour

    Topping

    1 cup quick cooking whole oats
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/3 cup flour
    4 tablespoons melted butter
    1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

Lightly butter or spray a 6-cup baking dish. In a large bowl, combine berries, sugar, and flour. Transfer to prepared baking dish. For topping, melt butter in medium bowl. Add oats, brown sugar, flour, and nuts (if using). Mix thoroughly with fork. Cover berries with topping mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until filling is bubbly. Serve plain or with vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt.
