A low fat bread, high in folate. A low fat bread, high in folate.
Number of Servings: 30


    1.5 cups warm water
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    3 cups bread flour
    1 tbsp sugar
    1 tbsp salt
    1 oz yeast


Place water, sugar, salt, whole whet flour, bread flour and yeast in bread machine in that order. set machine to the dough setting. When the timer sounds remove dough from machine onto floured surface. Shape into 18 inch long tube and split in half. Set both halves on baking sheet sprayed with Pam. Cut 3 diagonal slices in the top of each loaf. Cover with a damp towel and put in a warm place to rise again for 45 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cut each loaf into 15 slices.
