Adapted from a white flour recipe, to be used as muffins. Very filling. Adapted from a white flour recipe, to be used as muffins. Very filling.

    1.5 cup whole wheat flour
    1.25 tsp baking powder
    .25 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/8 tsp salt
    .25 tsp vanilla extract
    2 egg whites
    1 cup mashed banana
    .5 cup sugar
    .25 cup unsweetened applesauce


Combine mashed banana, egg whites, applesauce, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Add dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt) until well mixed. Pour batter into muffin pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
