Using Brown Rice & Low sodium Chicken broth Using Brown Rice & Low sodium Chicken broth

    2 C Brown Rice
    1lb Pork Sausage
    2 cans Low Sodium Chicken Broth + water to make 4 cups
    1 pouch Shake & Bake Pork
    1 can Cream of Celery Soup*


Serves 8
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In skillet brown sausage, drain and rinse.
Mix all ingredients and place in 9x13 pan, cover tightly with foil.
Bake 1 hour or until all liquid is absorbed.
* 1/2 C. Fresh celery, chopped and fried with sausage can be used.

  • My mom always made this on cold nights, with chicken noodle in place of chicken broth and used long grain wild rice, with just a dusting of cheese to the top...So yummy! - 2/17/13
