    Black-eyed peas, fresh shelled, 5 Cups
    Onion (Yellow), 1 medium, raw, chopped
    Bell Pepper (Green) 1 medium raw, chopped
    Garlic, 2 cloves crushed
    Colgin Liquid Smoke, 1 tsp
    Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    Bragg Liquid Aminos, 1 tbsp
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Habanero or Scotch Bonnet pepper, 1/2 small raw, finely minced


Makes 6 1-cup servings.

Places peas in large pot & cover with water approximately 1/2 inch above the peas. Add everything else, except salt, & bring to a boil. Cover & lower heat to medium; cook for an hour or until soft as you like. Add salt in the last few minutes. Great with any whole grain.
