Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1 c Silk vanilla almond milk
    1 c frozen Canary/Krenshaw melon cubes
    1 tsp matcha powder

You could sub a different milk and add 1-2 drops vanilla extract, but I have not yet tried this.

Directions

Beforehand, cut up a Canary or Krenshaw melon (a hybrid of honeydew and cantaloupe, has smooth bright yellow skin) into cubes and freeze it in a ziplock bag overnight.

Combine all ingredients in a large cup or a deep bowl and blend with a handheld immersion blender.

Serve in a clear cup or glass to enjoy the pretty green color, put your feet up, and sip with a straw.

Makes 1 2-cup serving

I did a search for Matcha powder and you can buy it online from Amazon. It is a powdered green Japanese tea used in tea ceremonies. - 7/30/10

I personally love Canary Korean Melon, but I have no idea what the Matcha Powder is. Can you please enlighten me or let me know of a substitute if any at all just in case I can't find it in my area? I will be trying this; sounds deelish!! - 7/29/10
