Biscuits made with soft whole wheat. Makes 6 biscuits. Biscuits made with soft whole wheat. Makes 6 biscuits.
Number of Servings: 6


    1 cup soft whole wheat flour
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 tbsp butter
    1 tbsp vinegar
    7 tbsp goat milk


Preheat oven to 450. You want it good and hot once your biscuits are ready to bake.
Mix goat milk and vinegar together and set aside.
Sift flour, baking soda and powder and salt in bowl.
Cut in butter.
Add milk mixture and stir 'till well mixed.
Knead on floured surface for just a few seconds.
Pat to 1/2" thickness and cut with biscuit cutter/glass, etc.
Place on greased pan-close together for no side crust or farther apart for crust on all sides.
Bake at 450 for 12 minutes.
Makes 6 biscuits. Each biscuit counts as a serving.
