    3 ripe large tomatoes
    1/3 Cup (or less, to taste) basil
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 16 oz pkg fettuccine
    1/3 Cup extra virgin olive oil
    Garlic to taste
    1/4 tsp pepper
    4 oz provolone (1/4 pound)


In large bowl, combine tomatoes, basil, oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Heat in microwave for 1-2 minutes. Cover and let stand while cooking fettuccine. Then add mixture to fettuccine and sprinkle with provolone.
