    1 lb ground turkey
    3/4 cup chopped onion
    garlic powder (to taste)
    16 oz can crushed tomatoes
    12 oz tomato paste
    1 tsp basil
    1 tsp oregano
    2 tsp salt
    8 oz lasagna noodles (cooked per directions)
    1 1/2 cups low fat cottage cheese
    1 1/2 cups part skim Ricotta cheese
    1 tlbs parsley flakes
    2 eggs-beaten
    16 oz mozzarella cheese-shredded


Makes 12 servings

Brown ground turkey with onion and garlic salt. Drain. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, & salt. Simmer uncovered 30minutes. Stir occasionally. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook noodles and drain. Separate noodles soo they do not stick to each other. Mix cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, parsley flakes,and eggs. In a 9x13 pan layer 1/2 noodles, 1/2 cottage cheese mix, 1/2 meat sauce. Repeat the layers and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
