    1 -11/4 cups lukewarm water
    1/4 cup oil
    1/4 cup honey, molasses or maple syrup
    3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
    2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
    1/4 cup dry milk
    1 1/4 teaspoons salt


Mix all ingredients and knead for about 5 0r 10 minutes, until smooth and satiny. May need to add flour or water (a bit at a time) to get the smooth, non-sticky dough. I use the dough hook on my mixer. Let list until puffy, not necessarily doubled in bulk, about 1 or 2 hours. Place in bread pan (s), depending on the size of loaf you want. Let rise again for 1 or 2 hours. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 40 minutes. Tent with Reynolds Wrap after 20 minutes to avoid excessive browning on top. Cool on a rack. I spray the loaf with olive or cannola oil while hot for a softer crust. Enjoy!
