    1 pkg Tinkyada Rice Spirals pasta
    2 regular sized cans Albacore tuna (2.5 oz)
    3/4 cup chopped mushrooms
    3/4 cup chopped onions
    1 pat butter
    1/2 tbsp garlic powder (or to taste)
    3 oz. (about 6 square slices) of swiss cheese
    3/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella


cook pasta according to package instructions. in the mean time, cook mushrooms and onions in covered dry pan over high heat for a couple of minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning. (cover the pan to force mushrooms to render their liquid.) remove lid and add about 1 pat butter and sprinkle with 1/2 tsp of garlic powder (reserve the rest). once mushrooms and onions are cooked down a bit, add tuna and heat for several minutes. --- drain pasta and put into an oven proof casserole dish. evenly distribute mushroom, onion, tuna mixture over pasta. cover with swiss cheese slices and then sprinkle mozzarella over top of swiss -- sprinkle with the remainder of the garlic powder. place under broiler until cheese is golden and bubbly. remove and enjoy!
