    Quinoa, honey, almonds, apple


Add 1 cup dry quinoa to two cups boiling water, return to boil, then reduce heat and cover for 10 minutes, add apple and almonds--both chopped medium to fine, add another quarter cup of water and return to simmer, add honey. Allow to cook for another 5 minutes to soften apples. serve warm with a splash of almond milk or dairy milk if desired. Serves 4
