    • 1/2 cup light margarine
    • 1/2 cup Splenda Sugar Blend for Baking
    • 1/2 cup EggBeaters (2 eggs)
    • 3 medium bananas, mashed
    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 cup Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsals

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom only of 2 loaf pans, 8.5x4.5x2.5 inches inches, with shortening.
  2. Beat 1/2 cup butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Beat in eggs and bananas until smooth. Beat in flour, baking powder, baking soda and alt just until mixed. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into 2 pans.
  3. Bake 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes; removie from pan to wire rack. Cool completely, about 1 hour.

    Great Recipe. Baking time not correct. That time is for ONE loaf of bread, not divided into two loaves. I compared this to the original recipe at's site and the ingredients are right but for only one pan. However, I love the recipe. It's delicious. Will make again in ONE loaf. - 8/22/07

    Okay - I cheated and used regular ingredients on this because I didn't have the Splenda baking or the egg beaters. It's a great regular recipe, though. And the next time I make it I will try it the low-cal way. - 8/18/07

  • Incredible!
    OH SO GOOD! Must retain self control ... must not eat entire thing ... This was really good, made it before the revised so we also had peanut butter frosting on top and it was made with shortening so our fat was MUCH higher. Anyone who LOVES chocolate should try this! - 8/6/07
