    1 cup whole wheat all purpose flour
    3/4 cup unbleached all purpose flour
    1/4 cup uncooked Zoom Hot Wheat cereal flakes
    2 Tbsp wheat bran
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
    1/4 cup honey
    1/4 cup 1% milk
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp canola oil
    3/4 cup fresh or frozen, unsweetene blueberries (do not thaw if using frozen; this will prevent the berries from bleeding into the batter)

    1 Tbsp brown sugar, packed
    1/2 tsp ground ginger


Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray or line with paper liners 12 muffin cups.

In large bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. Make a well in the centre.

In small bowl or measuring cup, combine the bananas, honey, milk, egg and oil. Pour mixture into dry ingredients, stirring just to moisten. Add blueberries and gently mix. Divide batter evenly amoung the muffin cups.

In small bowl, combine the brown sugar and ginger together. Sprinkle over top of muffins.

Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until tops spring back after being lightly touched.
