    1/2 Cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
    1/2 Cup Splenda
    2/3 Cup Peeled and Shredded Apple
    2 tsp Cocoa Powder
    2 Egg Whites
    1 Cup Shredded Almonds
    1/2 Cup Unsweetend Preserves
    1 tsp Almond Extract

    **Recipe also calls for 1/4 cup wheat germ, but I left it out and they taste just fine!


Preheat overn to 350 degrees. Coat an 8x8 inch pan with cooking spray. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Spread mixture into pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Cut into 2 inch square bars.
