Introduction

A vegetable loaded pizza for much less than take-out. A vegetable loaded pizza for much less than take-out.

Ingredients

    Trader Joe’s Panne Rustico Bread -1/2 loaf cut length wise
    Trader Joe’s Pizza Sauce, 1/2 cup
    Trader Joe's Quattro Fromaggio Shredded Cheese - 2 cups
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1 large whole (3" dia) - diced
    Onions, raw, 1 small - diced
    Black Olives 1 small can - sliced
    Green Bell Peppers 1/2 cup, chopped (remove)
    Garlic, 2 clove - minced
    Olive Oil - 1 TBSP
    *Oregano - 1 small palm full chopped up fine

Directions

Preheat Oven to 425
Spread pizza sauce evenly over bread
Sprinkle cheese evenly on top of sauce, reserve about 1/4 cup to top off pizza at the end
In a non-stick pan warm olive oil
Sautee onions in olive oil until browned
Add garlic, tomatoes, bell peppers and oregano and sautee until veggies are soft
Add olives and sautee a couple minutes more then remove from heat.
Spread mixture evenly over pizza
Top off with reserved cheese
Bake at 425 for 20-30 mins or until cheese is melted and crust is at desired crispness.

Make 10 rectangular slices
