Ingredients



    sweet sue chicken broth, reduced sodium, 5.5 cup (remove)
    Carrots, raw, 3 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Garlic, 4 cloves (remove)
    Celery, raw, 1.5 cup, diced (remove)
    black beans, dry, 3 cup (remove)
    Basil, 2 tbsp (remove)
    Salt, 2 tsp (remove)
    Pepper, black, 1 tsp (remove)
    delmonte stewed tomatoes, italian recipe, 14.5 oz (remove)
    fiesta diced tomatoes, south west style, 14.5 oz (remove)
    Olive Oil, 2 tbsp (remove)
    1 tsp onion powder
    1 tsp garlic powder
    2 tsp ground cumin

Directions

soak beaks in water overnight. drain and rinsse.

saute onions, celery, garlic, carrots and pepper untill onions are translucent, add beans, and the remaining ingredients and simmer on low heat for approx 2 hours or untill beans are done.

blend untill smooth.

Makes 13 one cup servings.

gannish if desired with 1 tsp of pesto.
