    375 g fettuccine noodles
    25 ml olive oil
    7 ml crushed garlic
    1 cup thinly sliced onion
    1/5 kg pureed tomatoes
    125 ml basil
    375 g scallops


1. Cook pasta in boiling water according to package instructions or until firm to the bite. Drain and place in a serving bowl
2. In large skillet heat oil; saute garlic and onions until tender. Add crushed/pureed tomatoes and simmer occasionally. Add basil and pepper and cook for 2 minutes. Set aside
3. In a small skillet saute scallops until seared on both sides and just cooked, approximatly 3 minutes. Drain and add to pasta along with sauces. Toss and garnish with basil.
