    1 cup whole wheat or graham flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt or salt substitue
    2 cups natural crude bran
    1.5 cups skim milk
    0.5 cup splenda
    2 tbsp real maple syrup
    3 tbsp egg substitute or egg whites


combine egg, milk, splenda and syrup. in seperate bowl whisk together dry ingredients. mix together with fork. DO NOT over mix, as this wil make the muffins tough. spoon into greased muffin tin. bake at 350 for 20 minutes

Favorite adaptations:
-use hickory or birch syrup in place of maple.
-swap 1/2 the milk for orange juice or apple cider.
-add 1 cup of rasins.
- add 1/2 cup berries.
