Introduction

My signature dessert made in a special pan from the Stabo store in Fargo, North Dakota. Always a hit! My signature dessert made in a special pan from the Stabo store in Fargo, North Dakota. Always a hit!

Ingredients

    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 tsp. pure almond extract
    2/3 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. white flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 stick of butter

Directions

Beat sugar, egg, almond extract, and milk together. Then mix in flour and baking powder. Finally, add one stick of melted butter. Pour into well greased pan (I line mine with aluminum foil) and bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 50 minutes. (I bake for 40 minutes and then cover with foil to prevent further browning for the last 10 minutes. After inverting onto serving dish, garnish with sliced almonds and dust with powdered sugar. Also excellent served topped with strawberries and drizzled with Nutella spread. WW points = 3 per serving. (17 servings per cake)
