    Butter, unsalted, 1.5 tbsp
    *Canola Oil, 1.5 tbsp
    *Flour, white, 3 Tbs
    Milk, nonfat, 2 cup
    *Sargento reduced fat cheddar cheese,shredded 2 cup
    Ortega Thick and Chuncky Salsa, Medium, 1/2 cup
    Old El Paso Original Taco Seasoning, 1 tsp


Heat oil and butter in medium saucepan over medium heat until butter is melted. Slowly add flour to oil and cook for 1 minute; whisking continously to prevent scortching.
Slowly whisk in milk. Continue to stir mixture as it comes to a simmer. Simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add cheese, salsa, and taco seasoning. Stir until well blended and cheese is melted. Serve over steamed veggies or serve with raw veggies as a cheese dip.
Makes 8 - 1/4 cup servings.
