    1 1/3c water; 2/3c regular brown rice; 1/4c chopped green pepper; 1 t chicken bouillon granules; 1/2t dried basil; 1t olive oil; 1 med tomato chopped


in med saucepan combine water, rice; green pepper; bouillon; & basil (add olive oil if like it). Bring water to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered for 30-40 min or till rice is tender. (can also use rice cooker).

Stir in chopped tomato, heat through. Makes 4 serv
