Introduction

An easy sugar-free chocolate frosting made with the new ZSweet Confectioner's sugar. An easy sugar-free chocolate frosting made with the new ZSweet Confectioner's sugar.

Ingredients

    2 cups Swerve or ZSweet confectioner's sugar
    2 tablespoons raw cacao or unsweetened chocolate powder
    3 tablespoons vegetable shortening
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

In stand up mixer with paddle attachment, add Swerve or ZSweet, cacao powder, shortening, and vanilla. Beat until well incorporated. Using a spatula, add in melted baking chocolate to frosting and blend until incorporated. Frost on cooled cupcakes. Frosting may be stored in refrigerator.

Yield: 1 cup or enough for 2 dozen cupcakes.
