That delicious chocolate cake surrounded in hot pudding that you love, made in minutes in the microwave! Definitely not calorie-friendly, but a scrumptious comfort food. That delicious chocolate cake surrounded in hot pudding that you love, made in minutes in the microwave! Definitely not calorie-friendly, but a scrumptious comfort food.

Ingredients

    3/4 c flour
    1/2 c sugar
    2 Tbsp cocoa
    1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/3 c milk
    1/4 c melted butter
    1 1/2 tsp vanilla
    Toppings:
    3/4 c sugar
    1/4 c cocoa
    1 c hot/boiling water

Directions

Mix dry ingredients in bowl. Add milk, margarine, and vanilla. Pour batter into 3-quart casserole dish. In a separate small bowl, combine topping ingredients. Pour evenly over batter. DO NOT MIX. Cook, uncovered for 5-8 minutes on High (10) or until cake springs back when touched. Let cool, uncovered, for 20 minutes before serving.

Makes 4 large servings.
