Ingredients

Salt, 1 dash
Pepper, black, 1 dash
Pepper, red or cayenne, .5 tsp
Garlic, 1 tsp minced
Broccoli, fresh, 3 spear (about 5" long) chopped thick
Whole Wheat Pasta, cooked, 2 cup
Ricotta Cheese, part skim milk, 1 cup
*Extra Virgin Olive Oil, .5 tbsp
Directions
1. Cook pasta on stove per instructions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta-cooking water. Return pasta to pan.
2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a 10- to 12-inch frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic; stir until fragrant but not brown, 1 to 2 minutes.
3. Add chili flakes and broccoli; stir 3 to 4 minutes. Add .25 cup of reserved water; simmer until greens are tender to bite, 6 to 8 minutes.
4. Add broccoli mixture to pasta with ricotta, and remaining 1/2 cup reserved water; mix, adding salt and pepper to taste.
