    2 cans black beans (rinsed and drained)
    2 C water
    1 can fat free, low sodium chicken broth (2 Cups)
    1 chopped onion
    1tsp coriander
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/8 ground red pepper
    4 cloves garlic (I use bottled)
    8 oz. turkey sausage (like polish sausage)
    hot cooked rice (1/2 C per person)


Combine beans, broth, water, onion, coriander, salt, red pepper, and garlic. Bring to boiling, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minute until tender. Serve over 1/2 C of rice per person
