This is quick and easy. I remember having this for school lunches when I was growing up. Any recipes I tried never was the same as what I had while growing up. So I decided to try it on my own. This is closer to tasting what I had at school than any other recipe I've tried. This is quick and easy. I remember having this for school lunches when I was growing up. Ingredients

    1 lb. ground chuck
    ½ c. chopped onions
    ½ c. chopped green peppers, optional
    1 c. raw macaroni, cooked
    1/4 c. or 2 packets of chili seasoning mix, no salt
    1 (8oz.) Hunt’s Tomato Sauce, no salt
    1/3 c. ketchup
    1/2-1 c. water

Directions

Cook the macaroni in salted boiling water for 7-10 minutes or until tender. Brown hamburger, onions, and green peppers. Drain grease from hamburger and return to pan. Drain macaroni and add to hamburger. Add other ingredients, except water. Only put in as much water as you desire for thickness. Heat approximately for 10 minutes or until heated through. Makes 6 1-cup servings.
