Ingredients
-
1/2 cup rice, uncooked (2 servings Riceland calculated)
broccoli (200g calculated)
frozen corn & peas (90g FC frozen corn calculated)
1 egg + 1 egg white (1 large calculated))
ginger (1/2 tsp used)
garlic powder (1/2 tsp used)
sesame oil (omitted)
splash of soy sauce (1 tbsp Kikkoman AP calculated)
Directions
This time I used chopped up broccoli, frozen peas & corn, and 1 egg + 1 egg white for the veggies, and ground ginger, garlic powder and sesame oil for the flavah! Oh, and a splash of soy sauce, natch!
First I splashed some sesame oil in a skillet and let it heat up.
Then I added the frozen corn and peas to the skillet and sauteed them until hot, ~1 minute.
Next I added in cooked brown rice and broccoli, (I added the chopped broccoli to the rice pot when it had about 5 minutes left to cook so it could steam), added a splash of soy sauce, and sprinkling of ginger and garlic powders, then mixed!
Next, I created a well in the middle of the mixture, poured the whisked egg + egg white in, and scrambled everything up.
Done! Serves 2.
