Number of Servings: 6


    1 C. long grain rice
    1 T. canola oil
    1 C. no salt added tomato sauce
    2 C. water
    2 tsp. low sodium bouillon cubes
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder


Heat oil in pan. Warm. Carefully add rice and cook to a light brown. Carefully add tomato sauce. Stir while simmering for a couple of minutes. Carefully add water, chicken boullion and garlic powder. Bring to a soft boil. Cover and cook for 20 minutes at a simmer or until rice is tender. Makes 6 servings.
