Introduction

Very easy to make bread. Everyone in my family enjoys it. It's a family tradition, my mother passed me the recipe. Nutritional information is approximate per number of slices. Depends on how thick the slice is! I calcualted about 30 slices, but it could be more. Very easy to make bread. Everyone in my family enjoys it. Ingredients

    White Flour, 5 cups
    Wheat bran, 1 cup
    Sunflower seeds, 1/2 cup
    Salt, 1 tbsp
    Sugar, 2 tbsps
    Vegetable oil, 2 tbsps
    Yeast, 1 envelope
Water, 2 cups approx, or as needed
Seeds for decorating (sesame, etc) optional.

Directions

Mix all ingredients. Add water until all ingredient are incorporated into one ball (similar to pizza dough) then kneed for 5 to 8 minutes..add more flour for kneeding if needed. Let the dough raise in a warm place (inside the oven for example) for 1.5 hours. Divide into 2 or 3 loaves, depending on how big your molds are. Bake for 30 or 35 minutes at 375 F, or until top of the bread is a little bit golden. Take from the oven and let cool. The bread must be kept in the fridge. You can freeze it for up to 1 month.
